Family Christmas Party, 2009

This year, on the last Sunday of Advent, December 20, after Mass and Coffee Hour, we combined our Parish Family Christmas party with our first annual Greening of the Church. In spite of a snow storm which kept some away, many of us made a whole day of it. By holding these events together, we all experienced some new things and we all had a wonderful time. The children got to see the Church in the process of transformation for the Christmas season, and many of the adults had fun decorating cookies! Together westrengthened our friendships, playing and running around, eating tasty treats, collecting presents for our annual toy drive for a shelter in Harlem and decorating Christmas cookies for our Soup Kitchen guests.
